Because you can never have too much Peanut Butter and Chocolate-Reeses Chocolate Peanut Butter Magic Bars!
I might have a bit of a problem. It’s the candy isle in stores. Especially around holiday time when all the colorful wrappers are just calling to me. Pretty reds and greens, gold and silver. And then they’ll take my favorites and put them in the shape of bells! Have you had a Reeses Bell? It’s got a little more chocolate than the regular Reeses cup. They just call to me.
Remember 2 weeks ago when I posted a recipe for Hershey Kissed Brownie Bites as part of a group post featuring Hershey’s Kisses Chocolate and Reese’s peanut Butter Cups? Well now it’s my turn to share a recipe using Reese’s Cups!
Partnering with several other bloggers and Hershey’s to make up treats just in time for your holiday baking.
What’s not to love about a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup? It’s yummy peanut butter surrounded by delicious chocolate. It’s almost impossible to improve upon one. Unless you’re adding it to a recipe with more peanut butter and chocolate. Because, let’s face it. You can never have too much of a good thing.
These bars didn’t last long around here. The kids just couldn’t keep away from them. (I might have also had a few)
Reeses Chocolate Peanut Butter Magic bars
Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed graham cracker crumbs
- 2 tablespoons Hershey's cocoa
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 package Reeses peanut Butter Chips (10 ounces)
- 1 bag Hershey Milk Chocolate Chips (11.5 ounces)
- 30 + miniature Reese's peanut Butter Cups (the more the better), cut into quarters
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounce)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and cocoa, stir to combine. Pour in melted butter and mix until all crumbs are moistened. Press crumb mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 9 x 13 pan.
- Start layering the remaining ingredients in order. Peanut butter chips, milk chocolate chips and peanut butter cups.
- Drizzle sweetened condensed milk over the top covering every nook and cranny.
- Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 minutes, being careful not to burn peanut butter cups. Remove from oven and let cool completely before cutting. Store in an airtight container.

These look amazing! I wish I had one to eat as a lunchtime treat. Reeses are my favorite candy so I will eat them in any form. Add them to baked goods and I’m ecstatic 🙂

Reese’s peanut butter cups are my all time favorite candy so I am bonkers for bars like this. There is something about the salty peanut butter center and the chocolate that put a big smile on my face. Thank you for baking these to share with us!

I didn’t have graham crackers so I used crushed pretzels. Yummy!
Gina says
My daughter and I made these earlier today. They were easy to make and turned out perfectly. Great dessert dish to share at a party or cookout. Other than adding a little more graham crackers for the crust, I wouldn’t change a thing. Do not make this ifyou are dieting or even thinking about dieting. Your will power will not stop you from eating this yumminess!
Kathleen R. says
These look incredible! I agree there is no such thing as too much pb (especially Reeses) & chocolate!
Dawn says
These are delicious – but ooooeeee are they sweet. But of course I knew that with the ingredients. They are best with a tall glass of cold milk! Maybe heated with a dollop of unsweetened or lightly sweetened whipped cream!!
Joan Hayes says
Yes, you definitely want to cut these into small bars. Whipped cream on top of a warm one would be yummy!
Baking-mom says
I had these at a work party and needed to make them. I’ve never seen or had a brownie like this before. After a little investigating, I found this recipe. Yum. The only thing different I did was add a thin layer of peanut butter over the Graham crust. Just adds a little more peanut butter taste to it. And I didn’t add very many chocolate chips. Just my preference. I don’t like to overdue the chocolate chips, in cookies either. Now peanut butter. Mmmm.
Joan Hayes says
I love that you added the extra peanut butter layer! Can’t wait to try that on my next batch!

made these reese chocolate peanut butter magic bars and where the milk was instead of being the creamy milk color it is a light blue. they look disgusting but taste good. why do you think that happened?
Joan Hayes says
That’s so strange, maybe it was a bad can of sweetened condensed milk? Did you check the expiration date on it?
