Sometimes you just want to make something fun. Get into the spirit of the season. I had Candy Eyes left over from making these cute Puppy Cookies. I don’t have a lot of use for eyes in my baking.

Salted Halloween Monster Bark-adding candy eyes makes for an easy treat!

My kids are older, they don’t get Halloween parties at school any more. (Excuse me while I go cry in the corner for a few minutes.) We can still enjoy cute treats at home but with it just being us, making a batch of 24 cupcakes…nope. We don’t need that many sweets around here.

Salter Halloween Bark-chocolate, pretzels, reese pieces and candy eyes!

Making candy Bark is just the obvious, and the easiest, choice. A little salty, a little sweet. Of course it’s chocolate. And the eyes. They make it fun. You can use any additions you want. I had a box of the Reese’s Pieces in the cabinet. You can never go wrong with that chocolate/peanut butter combination.

Salted Halloween Monster Bark-an easy treat that everyone will love!
