Chocolate Muddy Buddies (also called Puppy Chow) great to serve at parties or as a snack!
I want to talk about Facebook. I admit it, I’m an addict. I get up in the morning and pop on facebook with my morning coffee. It’s the last thing I check before I go to bed. And I won’t even tell you how many times I’m on it during the day.
Over the past 2 weeks, I’ve noticed a drastic drop in my Chocolate, Chocolate and more Facebook page interaction. No big deal, the kids are all heading back to school. Everyone has to get into a new “school time” routine.
On the personal side, I was loving seeing all the back to school photos of my friends’ kids. Here’s my Grace after her first day back.
But I wasn’t seeing as many as I usually did. Facebook is always changing things up, trying to make our experience “better.” Thinking IT knows what we want to see in our news feed.
And then it hit me. I’ve always said, Facebook wants us to be active, commenting and liking each other’s posts, as a way to show we like what we’re seeing. I thought it was just with business pages, but no, it also affects what you see from your friends.
I’m a commentor by nature, especially if it’s a photo of your kids or a prayer request. I’d hate for someone to think they were being ignored when in fact, I just didn’t see the post. I know how much I like getting comments and chatting with everyone.
I’ve always had Interest lists for pages I like to follow on FB. Feel free to follow my Favorite Food Pages (this one has everything food related) or if you just want sweets I have a Favorite Sweets Bloggers list. You don’t have to be friends with me to follow these lists and I don’t get to know anything about you when you do follow.
So I decided to click around. I discovered you can also make interest lists for your friends!!!
Either directly from their profile or you can go to your friends list on your about page on Facebook. Just hover over the “Friends” and a drop down list appears. Make up lists for everything, church, school, sports, work related. There is no limit. Then to find your interest lists, just go to your side bar, on the left side of the home page, down at the bottom. There’s one for Friends (personal friends) and one for Interests (business pages on FB)
Never miss a post from friends again. And when you see their posts, leave a comment, you never know who’s day you’ll make just by saying “cute photo” or “praying.”
These Chocolate Muddy Buddies are a favorite at our house to make for parties or just as a quick snack to go with a movie night. Toss them together in just a few minutes!

I didn’t know you could make interest lists at all, so thank you! FB frustrates me to no end even on the personal side. I’ll have to start taking control and stop just griping to my husband! Delicious looking Muddy Buddies! It’s been too long since I made those…probably because I will just eat them all myself.
