Smores Brownie Cake-graham cracker crust, chocolatey cake and topped with toasted marshmallows.
I’m not sure what it is about S’mores. The marshmallow, the graham cracker, the Hershey’s Chocolate Bar? Honestly, I’m not a big fan of graham crackers or marshmallows.
Let’s face it, graham crackers are boring all alone. They make a great base for things like cheesecake, personally, my favorite crust for any dessert.
Marshmallows, are really kinda boring just sitting there in the bag. I mean, you wouldn’t catch me just eating them straight out of the bag, not like say chocolate chips. They need to be toasted over a camp fire or melted down into rice Krispie Treats or stirred into a fudge recipe.
When you do use marshmallows and Graham crackers in a recipe, together with chocolate, something magic happens. It’s that S’mores magic. The perfect blending of flavors. Make it in cake form and you got an easy treat perfect for a rainy day or just because you want that campfire flavor without the fire or the camp.

Thanks so much for sharing my S’mores donuts. I think your brownie cake looks delicious!
I love s’mores, and baking them into brownies just makes them even better!
Joan, I’m not a big fan of graham crackers either. That’s why I’m not crazy about making S’mores. But I love that you have a graham cracker crust for this cake! Probably the best use of graham crackers ever!
Graham crackers always make a yummy crust!
I agree that graham crackers are boring by themselves, but I remember as a kid we would put butter on graham crackers as a dessert – now that sounds so weird. But I remember it being sooo good! Your cake looks amazing and a lot less messy than traditional smores 🙂
We put butter on graham crackers too, I crave those and still have them.

genius!!
I’m so happy to see this recipe. I use to make one very similar years ago and have no idea where that recipe is. My recipe just layed whole graham crackers on the bottom for the crust…thanks so much for sharing at Weekend Potluck. Pinning this one!
I am presently obsessed with all things S’mores, so I am loving this recipe! 🙂
Thank you for linking up at Marvelous Mondays this week!
Wait, you don’t snack on plain marshmallows? I even throw them into popcorn after popping haha You know me and smores. And I love how you used brownie for the base. Much better than plain graham crackers.
How I adore smore’s, I could eat the whole pan of these!! Great recipe Joan.
These brownies look fantastic! I really love the graham cracker crust and the chocolate pieces on top. You can’t go wrong with S’mores! Thanks for sharing at Showcase Your Talent Thursday. I pinned this and will be sharing on Facebook.
I notice this recipe doesn’t call for any sugar in the brownie. Is that a typo? Thanks!
Thank you so much for catching that! Yes, the recipe calls for 3/4 cup of sugar and I’ve updated the post!
MMM!! Thanks for sharing at Project Inspire{d}! Pinned! Hope you can share more of your creativity at tonight’s party – 8 pm EST https://www.settingforfour.com
