Cream Cheese Bacon Bites-these appetizers are so easy to make an won’t last long at any party!
This recipe has been around forever. I originally learned it through a Pampered Chef consultant. It was one of those recipes they made when they came to the house for a party.
My family’s been in love with it ever since.
We probably have bacon in some form around my house about every 2-3 weeks. But when I cook it up, I’ll usually cook 2 pounds so I have extra for salads, in other recipes and for these rolls.
By the way, who else cooks their bacon in the oven?
Set the oven to 375 degrees, place strips of bacon on a baking tray. I have an old tray I use just for items like this. Bake for 6-8 minutes, flip bacon then 7-8 minutes more, depending on thickness and how crisp you like it.
Perfect every time.
So back to this recipe. Since the recipe came from Pampered Chef, you should bake it on a baking stone but if you don’t have one, use a cookie sheet.

Cream Cheese Bacon Bites
Ingredients
- 4-5 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 5-6 slices of bacon, cooked
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 can crescent rolls
Instructions
- Combine all items except crescent rolls.
- Unroll crescent rolls onto a cutting board. Pinch seams together, or buy the new sheet crescent dough. I just saw that in the store the other day. Spread cream cheese mixture over top of crescent dough. Be sure to get all the way to the side edges, wouldn't want any of the rolls short changed on the good stuff.
- Roll jelly roll style from the long side (or if you want just a few really big rolls, roll from the short end.) Cut rolls every 1/2 to 3/4 inch. Place on baking stone or tray.
- Don't worry if they get a little mushed, crescent dough is forgiving and will still puff up perfectly.
- Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown.
- Let cool on baking sheet for 1 minute before removing and serving.
Notes
The ingredient list is a guideline. Adjust items to your taste. If I only have 4 strips of bacon, I don't let it stop me. Also, I've used minced onion in these and it gives a bit of texture. I lean more to the 5 ounces of cream cheese but the original recipe only calls for 3 ounces. We just love our cream cheese.

Savannah, these are great to make with kids, and even if during cutting they get a little mushed, when they bake, they puff right back into shape!
