Glazed Strawberry Rice Krispie treats-pretty in pink, perfect for a party or just because!
Let’s face it. Everyone loves Rice Krispie Treats. Rice Krispies Cereal, Marshmallows and Butter! And just so easy to make. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone, young or old that didn’t like a Rice Krispie Treat.
My sweet friend Lisa of Wine and Glue is having a baby girl in just a few weeks. Lisa is awesome! Not only does she have her own blog (and posts fabulous recipes there) but she’s also one of my round up contributors here. Did you see her Strawberry Round up? Over 50 amazing recipes using Strawberries!
Lisa was so sweet when she announced her pregnancy to her readers. And of course she announced it on her site. Our readers are just like our family (sometimes a lot better than family)
Just like family, a bunch of us decided to throw Lisa a virtual Baby Shower! Lisa’s having a girl so lots of pink treats, yummy sweets, easy dishes, all perfect for a party.
Turning this treat pink was just too easy. Just a box of Jell-o added to a traditional recipe for treats. The flavor was a perfect tangy sweet strawberry. My kids gobbled these up (and wouldn’t even share with their friends!)
