Frozen Hot Chocolate

Frozen Hot Chocolate-perfect for a warm day!

Frozen Hot Chocolate-perfect for a warm day!

My friend Stephanie over at Back for Seconds had this great idea. Get a few bloggers together and do some “fake out” recipes. She is the queen of fake outs. Just check out her Skinny Caramel Truffles or her Good for You Cookie Dough Dip. The closest I can come to passing something yummy off as healthy would be my Chocolate Chocolate Chip Zucchini Cake. But I can still handle this challenge, it’s about making something you don’t expect.

Frozen-Hot-Chocolate-from-ChocolateChocolateandmore-71a

I love hot chocolate and a cold winter’s day. Just warms you up from the inside out.

But what about in the summer? I still love the flavor but hot drinks? Except for my morning coffee which I can’t live without I want something cold to cool me down.

Frozen Hot Chocolate-perfect for a warm day!

I love milkshakes but I don’t always have ice cream in the house. And milk shakes are really fattening. Not a good idea to have one of those every day and then want to go to the beach. I don’t want that body I had when I was 18 but I don’t want to look like I now have 3 of those bodies mushed into my swimsuit. So how about a fake out? Hot Chocolate in the summer anyone?

Frozen Hot Chocolate-perfect for a warm day!

This is a great alternative for cooling off in the summer and the kids will think it’s fun.
