Chocolate Kahlua Floats

Chocolate Kahlua Floats-who says adults can’t enjoy a fun drink!

Chocolate Kahlua Floats-who says adults can't enjoy a fun drink!

So it’s almost summer here.

We always seem to go from winter to summer with no spring in between. Don’t get me wrong. I love living in Georgia. Our winters are pretty mild, at least compared to the north. And if we do get a bad storm, meaning they are predicting an inch or 2 of snow, we shut everything down for 3 days.

Our summers aren’t unbearable. We rarely get 100 degree temperatures. And so what if we do. We have air conditioning in our homes, in our cars, in every business we venture into. So the heat only gets to us if we venture into it.

Like when you want to sit on the back deck and read a good book while the kids are running around playing with the rest of the kids in the neighborhood. Yeah, we are lucky to have a bunch of kids all close in age to our kids, that like to play outside.

Why not enjoy a little treat for mom.  This drink was really just an accident. An awesome, delicious accident. As with most great discoveries, I was just rummaging through the cabinets.

I wasn’t sure what I wanted. And then I knew. And I tried it. And I loved it! This drink will be making many more appearances on the back deck this summer.

This sounds like a great dessert drink. I used to live in GA and now in TX – it gets over 100 degrees here many days so this might be by new dessert drink on the weekends. Thanks for sharing. Pinning.
