There are so many great recipes on the web these days. Back when I started this site I was a co-host of what we call a link party. Everyone brought their best dishes of the week and linked them up. It was like a virtual potluck. This was before Pinterest became so big and we still had to search for new ideas.
When I moved from Blogger to WordPress, I lost the link party widget but NOT the featured recipes. I’m reviving these posts and adding other treasures I’ve found, from kitchen gadgets to cookbooks I love.
After all, a good recipe never goes bad.
Hot Crab Melts from Southern with a Twist would be perfect for a Sunday brunch!
Deep Dish Gooey Pie from The Better Baker, how can you go wrong when it starts with cookie dough?
Flourless Chocolate Expresso Torte from Chin Deep is almost too pretty to eat.
Sour Cream Lemon Scones from Ally’s Kitchen top them with a fresh berry sauce and you got the perfect dessert.
And speaking of Ally, she has a new cookbook out! When I first met (online) Ally, she was like many of us, just wanting to share her love for food. Her personality and love for life and adventure immediately invited you to want to spend time with her. All of it crosses over to her new cookbook Ally’s Kitchen: A Passport for Adventurous Palates
Her cover portrays her personality perfectly.
I can’t wait to make her Lemon Cheese Cupcakes!
And I love this cute print from Tasty Yummies Etsy Shop
When I’m ready to redecorate my Kitchen, this will be a great addition.
