Thursday’s Treasures

Published November 15, 2012

Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week? The time is just flying by these days. I asked this question on my  Facebook Page, Have you already started decorating for Christmas? I want to. Our Thanksgivings are always small, just us, the kids and my mom, but Christmas is big! I meant to get some of the decorations out today, just didn’t get around to it. How about you? Do you wait till after Thanksgiving? Or do you start right after Halloween?

Before we get onto the party and features, I need to Congratulate Annie W. She was the Winner of the Fannie May Strawberry Sampler! I’ve already been in contact with her and Fannie May and she’ll have her delicious berries in time for Thanksgiving Dinner with her family.

Thank you Fannie May!

So let’s get this party Started! Debi of Recipes for my Boys and Christie from Food Done Light can’t wait to see what you link up this week!

So here’s what caught my eye last week–

Salted Caramel Cupcakes from The Kitchen is my Playground
Caramel Apple Cake from Weekend Experiments
Apple Crisp for One from Sumptuous Spoonfuls
Patchwork Quilt Chair from My Turn (for us)

Be sure to pop over to Debi’s and Christie’s and see what they’ve featured this week.

You know how parties work,
link up a few of your favorite recipes and/or crafts, provide a link back somewhere on your post
or on your party page, If you don’t provide the link back, we can’t feature you.
visit a few others and leave some kind words.
Oh and make sure you drop by Debi’s, give her a hug from me and follow her, she’s also on Facebook. and Christie, make sure she feels some love too, on her blog and facebook.
We’ll be popping by to comment, Pin and feature on facebook so leave a light on for us.

About Grace

When I was younger, I was constantly in the kitchen helping my mom bake. It was fun getting to play with the flour and always getting to lick the spoon. I’ve always expressed an interest in baking and now I feel that it’s the right time for me to take over. I am a college student working towards a nursing degree as well as a full-time aunt to the sweetest little kids (they might pop up in some of the posts). I’ve learned most of what I know about baking and cooking from my mom, and I am continuing to self-teach through trial and error, which means plenty of sweets to be eaten. Read more...
