Peanut Butter Corn Flake Candy – A sweet, yummy treat that’s so simple to make, and only takes like 15 minutes!
This sweet treat is something my mom and I used to make all the time before she passed, and when I took a bite, it brought back so many fun memories of being in the kitchen with her.
This recipe is also a great way to introduce cooking and baking to your little ones!
Peanut Butter Corn Flake Candy :
All you need is –
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of light corn syrup
- 1 1/2 cups of peanut butter
- 6 cups of corn flakes cereal
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
In a large saucepan, combine the sugar and light corn syrup over medium heat.
A little tip I learned from tiktok for measuring sticky liquids, if you spray your measuring cup or spoon with nonstick cooking spray, then the sticky liquid will fall right out and the meausring cup will practically be clean (other than the residue fro the nonstick cooking spray)!
Stir constantly over medium heat, and remove from the heat once the mixture comes to a light boil.
Add in the peanut butter and vanilla extract.
Completely mix in the peanut butter.
Now add in the corn flakes.
Gently fold the corn flakes into the mxture, making sure to completely coat each one.
Pour the Peanut Butter Corn Flake Candy onto a sheet of wax paper and press and shape it however you’d like.
I just made a rectangle and then cut it into even squares.
This treat had me feeling nostalgic! I miss my mom every day but I’m so thankful she left behind the amazing memories in the kitchen as well as the yummy tasting recipes!
I’m honestly still shocked she never got around to putting this recipe on the blog herself, but I’m glad to be able to share it for her!
When my siblings found out I made these, they rushed over to the house to get some and were so happy because they hadn’t had it since before mom passed, and i just know she’d be happy that this recipe and the thought of her could bring us all together!

I love this recipe. My aunt used to make these and would roll them into balls. We called them peanut butter balls and I loved them as a teen!
