Kahlua Balls are perfect for any occasion. They are very easy to make and you can have them ready ahead of time for when guests come over.
Much like a truffle these Kahlua Balls are very rich and intense with flavor. You won’t be able to stop eating them.
Very easy to make and only a few basic ingredients. You can also mix it up a little bit by adding other liquors. Dealer’s choice.
In a food processor combine the wafer cookies, nuts, chocolate chips, cocoa powder and powdered sugar and blend until fine. Then add the corn syrup, Kahlua and vanilla extract.
Now you are ready to roll them into balls. They will be very sticky so I suggest dusting your hands with some extra cocoa powder to keep from having a huge sticky mess.
After your make the balls then you can roll them in your favorite decorations. I found that the easiest way to decorate them was to put the balls and the decorations in a glass and spin them around until covered.
If you try to roll them in the decorations then you might lose some of the roundness.
These store great at room temperature in a closed container. You can also freeze them for serving later.
