Good Morning Everyone!

You all know how I love to make bread. This one’s another easy one. So easy that I make it with the kids, and their friends when I need to occupy them. There’s nothing more rewarding for me than showing someone how easy bread can be to make and of course when they get to try it after it’s done….well, you can see the pride in their face.

My dear friend Carrie is on an extended vacation in Europe with her family so I’m helping out over there today. That’s where you’ll find the recipe and easy follow along instructions for this bread. So pop on over to  Carrie’s Experimental Kitchen and check it out!

Post script: Joan passed away in her sleep on October 22, 2015. She went to bed feeling nauseous (which is one of the signs of heart attacks in women) and never woke up. Please learn the signs of heart attack in women (they are different than for men) and if you have high blood pressure or family history of heart disease, don’t brush off nausea as just the flu. Joan made it very clear that she wanted her work to continue in the event of her death so her family is working to keep Joan’s dream alive. In the days following her death, Joan’s fellow bloggers started a twitter campaign #ChocolateForJoan and #chocolateeverydamnday. We hope you’ll join us in honoring Joan’s memory by having chocolate every day.

When I was younger, I was constantly in the kitchen helping my mom bake. It was fun getting to play with the flour and always getting to lick the spoon. I’ve always expressed an interest in baking and now I feel that it’s the right time for me to take over.     Oh wow this looks so delicious! I love making bread too and I really like something sweet for breakfast, made raisin bread last week, so think I’ll have to head on over to Carrie’s Experimental Kitchen to get the recipe for this!

    Wow – your bread looks PERFECT! I have always wanted to make cinnamon swirl bread, I think I found the recipe I might just dare attempt. I love that it has wheat flour in it.
