Broccoli and Cheddar Cheese Quiche-Quiche is so easy to make and the combinations are endless!
Please tell me I’m not the only one who will cook/bake something just to justify (and show off) a new baking dish.
It’s finally spring. And the weatherman is promising some spring weather soon. I’m really slack when it comes to doing big Easter baskets for my kids. As long as they get some candy, they’re happy.
This year I used their cereal bowls as baskets and stuffed enough sugar wrapped in cute plastic to put them in comas for a day or two.
And they were happy.
Besides, it’s not like they did’t know I’d be hitting up the day after sales for more candy.
I told the girls where we were going and what we were looking for. And that’s all we were shopping for. I didn’t want to deal with any pouty faces when I had to start saying “no, that’s not what we’re here for.”
First stop Hobby Lobby, had to check out their Easter sales. I found a cute little cake stand and then a new tablecloth for my kitchen table, score! I never left the first few isles. In and out, don’t wander around, that’s how you end up spending way more than you planned.
Next Stop Target. Straight back to the holiday candy. M&Ms, Snickers, Peeps, Jelly Beans, even that cute hand towel pictured above. Now that we have the holiday section out of the way, time for some girl shopping, you know, the clothes, shoes, make-up, other incidentals. Girl stuff.
Score on the shoes, I had 3 pairs for me in the cart but after walking around with them did finally decide on just one pair. The girls found cute shoes too. Was disappointed in the spring clothes but Grace did get a cute outfit.
Over by the makeup, while the girls are checking out the nail polish, I spot it. By one of those price checker things. I love the turquoise color! I already have a tart pan but mine has short sides and is a 10 inch. I don’t really need another one.
A quick scan at the price check tells me for $5.00 I can have this baby? I can’t believe whoever left it here, well, left it. Not me, into the cart it goes.
Back at home I have to use it, I have to show off my new tart pan. And it does make a beautiful Quiche.

Now I have to introduce you to my friend Ashton over at Something Swanky.
Isn’t she pretty? She’s got a sweet tooth almost as big as mine (just check out her Hershey Kisses round up or her Browned Butter Brownies) and a heart that’s way bigger. She’s always there to help a friend, any time, any way she can.
If Ashton we’re close by, I’d totally make her this quiche, and probably some cookies, and maybe some fresh bread…
So what do you do for a friends when she moves into a new home? Well of course you throw her a house warming. and while the girls and I couldn’t help Ashton unpack, we are able to throw a little virtual love her way. So go tell her hello and seriously those Brownies, pin them!

Man, I just really wanna make a quiche but I have never done it before. I love the combo of broccoli and cheese – so comforting. Great recipe.
Thanks Kammie, I love making quiche, it’s one of the few dishes that still tastes great reheated and you can also freeze the leftovers.

Hey! I made your quiche recipe 2 nights ago for a party I had and it was a huge hit! So much flavor! I posted it over at my blog and left a link back to you! Come check it out! https://home-styled.blogspot.com/2013/04/broccoli-onion-quiche.html
I’m so glad you enjoyed it Kinsley! Thanks for the shout out.
Love the new pan! The quiche looks great too but I really wish I had that pan. ๐
Woo hoo! Congrats on being feature on Marvelous Mondays!
I’m a sucker for kitchen dishes and accessories for sure. I’m going to Marshalls/Home Goods with my mother in law today so most likely I’ll walk out with 10 things I really don’t need. And don’t get me started with Target; I’ve never walked out spending under $20. But it makes me happy so it’s okay. ๐
Quiche looks amazing! Pinning for later for sure!
How sweet of you guys! This looks really yummy and I love the pan!
I love this combo for quiche Joan!
