Thursday’s Treasures Link Party

Another week already. I love all the great links everyone brings to the party, thank you all so much for coming back each week. Before we get to this week’s party, I have a favor to ask of you. I wasn’t going to mention it but I’ve been nominated for The Top 10 Food Blogs from Voice Boks. There are a total of 50 of us there, many blogs I really admire so I’m totally honored to be among them.

I saw them asking for nominations a few months back and never thought anything about it. Then about 2 weeks ago, I got an e-mail that my blog had been nominated and then selected. I wasn’t going to do anything but after thinking on it, someone else took the time to put my name out there, I should care about this as much as they did. About Grace

When I was younger, I was constantly in the kitchen helping my mom bake. It was fun getting to play with the flour and always getting to lick the spoon. I’ve always expressed an interest in baking and now I feel that it’s the right time for me to take over. I am a college student working towards a nursing degree as well as a full-time aunt to the sweetest little kids (they might pop up in some of the posts). I’ve learned most of what I know about baking and cooking from my mom, and I am continuing to self-teach through trial and error, which means plenty of sweets to be eaten. Read more...
