Homemade Irish Cream is so easy to make and taste so good. The perfect addition to any drink. Worth the 5 minutes it takes.
A friend gave me her family recipe for Homemade Irish Cream and it was so enticing. I must admit though I altered it a little bit.
She said her family makes it every Christmas and I love traditions.
It is very versatile and can be added to many different drinks.
Here’s a straight shot with graham cracker crumbs and whipped cream.
Then there is always iced coffee.
Who could turn that down?
Make it festive!
Then there is, of course, hot chocolate. My husband and I share hot chocolate every New Year’s as a tradition.
We met on New Year’s Eve and he bought me a 25 cent cup of hot chocolate and there the tradition began.
One year for our anniversary I had mugs made with our names and the date we met.
This can also make a great gift idea.
It makes about four cups. It can be five if you add more cream.
I prefer the stronger whiskey flavor in mine. Especially since I usually add it to other drinks.
As always Drink Responsibly!!!
