Chocolate Covered Strawberry Pops are so much easier to eat than regular ones. They are so good and less messy.
Whenever I eat chocolate covered strawberries they are always messy. Sometimes the leaves fall off and it just isn’t easy.
Putting the strawberries on a pop stick makes it so easy and you can eat the whole thing at one time or take bites.
Being able to place them in gift bags makes it where I can hand them out to all of my friends and it’s also very cute.
I made half with dark chocolate and half with milk chocolate. Then you can use the opposite kind for decorating or you can use colored melting chocolates.
I found small packages of white and pink melting chocolates at the store and thought they would be wonderful but they ended up being a little difficult to work with.
I’ll just stick to melting the white chocolate and adding my own colors.
I even soak some of the strawberries in brandy for an hour before coating them. Those were really good and the strawberry flavored brandy makes a great cocktail.
I was thinking about ways to wrap them so that I could give some to friends and I came up with cake pop covers at the store. They are the perfect size and even have cute ribbons with them for decoration.
