Look what I found this morning!

The first blackberries of the season!

Today I get to co-host Thursday’s Treasures with Debi from Recipes for My Boys.

I love Debi. Every morning on FB, Debi greats you with a good morning hug and something bright and cheerful, even on gloomy days. I look forward to Debi’s post to start my day off right. Debi is a mom to 3 boys, the youngest two are twins. She’s got her hands full but she takes it all in stride. I know if I ever get down to Florida, she’ll have a light on for me and coffee and a slice of cake ready.

Everything you’ll find on Debi’s blog is food for her family along with a few crafts she’s made with her boys. A few of my favorites are her Triple Chocolate Bundt Cake, Parmesan Garlic Pulls, and Hamburger Vegetable Soup.

When I was younger, I was constantly in the kitchen helping my mom bake. It was fun getting to play with the flour and always getting to lick the spoon. I’ve always expressed an interest in baking and now I feel that it’s the right time for me to take over. I am a college student working towards a nursing degree as well as a full-time aunt to the sweetest little kids (they might pop up in some of the posts).
