About Grace

When I was younger, I was constantly in the kitchen helping my mom bake. It was fun getting to play with the flour and always getting to lick the spoon. I’ve always expressed an interest in baking and now I feel that it’s the right time for me to take over. I am a college student working towards a nursing degree as well as a full-time aunt to the sweetest little kids (they might pop up in some of the posts). I’ve learned most of what I know about baking and cooking from my mom, and I am continuing to self-teach through trial and error, which means plenty of sweets to be eaten. Read more...

I would use this mixer for my holiday baking. It would be on like Donkey Kong with the cookies and breads this year! I think the tangerine color would be just perfect for my kitchen.

I would use it in making french bread. I often bake bread and a nice mixer would really make the process easier.

The first thing I’d make would be a homemade cake – haven’t made a cake that didn’t come out of a box in years!

I would make a German Chocolate Cake, a 7up Cake, and hundreds of Christmas Cookies. My old KitchenAid mixer is 32 years old and still going strong. I would like to pass it down to my child and get a new one in the magenta or fuschia color.

My older sister has one and loves it. Hers is red in color but hard to borrow because we live almost 4 hours in driving time away from each other. As far as myself, I do not have any mixer except for a small hand one which in as much as I love to create desserts and holiday dinners, the most I will do with my little hand mixer is whipped potatoes and cake batter out of a box. I really would love a KitchenAid mixer as it is a quality product and the color…well surprise me. Thanks for taking time to read my post. And whether I win or not, I sincerely wish you a Merry Christmas and a healthy, prosperous New Year.

I had one of the first ones when they came out. when I got sick I lost everything. I sold it in a garage sale. I’ve missed it so much. my husband died in 1998, he said I made the best bread. And I made it with my mixer. I would love the chance to have another one. they werent’ in colors when I got mine. but I would love a dark blue or red one. thank you sincerely
