About Grace

When I was younger, I was constantly in the kitchen helping my mom bake. It was fun getting to play with the flour and always getting to lick the spoon. I’ve always expressed an interest in baking and now I feel that it’s the right time for me to take over. I am a college student working towards a nursing degree as well as a full-time aunt to the sweetest little kids (they might pop up in some of the posts). I’ve learned most of what I know about baking and cooking from my mom, and I am continuing to self-teach through trial and error, which means plenty of sweets to be eaten. Read more...

    ooooo….Christmas is coming.. I have a lot of recipes already put aside to prepare with and for the kids as part of our Advent calendar… and then for Christmas and New Year… and wow how much help I would have from such a mixer…

    With Christmas coming, I would start making Christmas cookies with my grandson. Have always wanted one but are too expensive for me at this time

    I would make some sort of dessert or cookies if I won a mixer. I do LOTS of baking but have never had a stand mixer before. It would be a real treat!

    The first thing I’ll make in the mixer will probably be my mom’s Christmas cookie recipe in a quadruple batch! I can’t wait to get all the attachments one day for a Kitchenaid mixer and attempt my own pasta 🙂
