When I was younger, I was constantly in the kitchen helping my mom bake. It was fun getting to play with the flour and always getting to lick the spoon. I’ve always expressed an interest in baking and now I feel that it’s the right time for me to take over. I am a college student working towards a nursing degree as well as a full-time aunt to the sweetest little kids (they might pop up in some of the posts). I’ve learned most of what I know about baking and cooking from my mom, and I am continuing to self-teach through trial and error, which means plenty of sweets to be eaten. Read more...

I have a mixer, but one of the beaters isn’t in a condition to use. The last time I made cookies, I said I would love a mixer like this! If I won I would make a batch of cookies (probably either chocolate chip of sugar! Mmm). Thank you so much for this opportunity!

I think I would either make bread dough or a batch of cookies…I am disabled and have arthritic hands and it would be awesome to be able to do either of these things in a KitchenAid as I can no longer do it by hand…thank you for the giveaway!!

I use my 1974 Kitchenaid Mixer about 3 or 4 times a week. I NEVER buy ground meat. We grind our own. My mixer has served me ALL of these years. I started a wedding cake/catering business with it in 1975. I have to run it on HIGH these days as the motor starts to smell a little burned. I LOVE my mixer. I will use it til it QUITS or I win a NEW ONE ! WOWO! Would’nt that be a HOOT If you like, I will be happy to send you a few photos of my old girl .
