When I was younger, I was constantly in the kitchen helping my mom bake. It was fun getting to play with the flour and always getting to lick the spoon. I’ve always expressed an interest in baking and now I feel that it’s the right time for me to take over. I am a college student working towards a nursing degree as well as a full-time aunt to the sweetest little kids (they might pop up in some of the posts). I’ve learned most of what I know about baking and cooking from my mom, and I am continuing to self-teach through trial and error, which means plenty of sweets to be eaten. Read more...

well if I were to win I would celebrate by making my first homemade from scratch cake… also this would be an amazing gift because we just adopted a child from a horrible situation… we are totally blessed to have this opportunity … so its time to celebrate besides ive been wanting one of these beauties for a long time and color doesn’t matter…. good luck to all who enter…

The first thing I would make is a red velvet cake with whipped cream cheese frosting with my 4 year old daughter every time she see the TV she ask me mommy to u want one of those am like uses baby but its to expensive for us right know but she always keeps my hopes up and says mommy I will get it for you so if I win this both me and my baby girl will enjoy it and get our Baking On

If I will I would probably make a big batch of cookies. My mixer is 16 years old and I’m afraid it might leave me every time I use it. I would cry.

Oh, how I would love to own a kitchenaid stand mixer! The first thing I would use it for is shredding chicken for stocking my freezer. Then I would probably make cookies (and stock the freezer with those, too)!

I will be 50 years old in May and my favorite color is STILL purple. Any Shade of Purple.
I’ve never had a stand mixer like this before, wonder if what I make with it will be lighter and fluffier than a hand mixer, I’ve got a recipe for chocolate peanut butter bars from this site that I want to try
