Happy New Year! I know, we’re already 10 days in but it’s never too late for good wishes.

It’s also never too late to shop! I know we just had Christmas and Hanukkah but if you’re like me, you had more fun giving than receiving.  Don’t get me wrong. My family is always wonderful to me but there are still things on my “wish list.” Things that I just can’t justify spending my earned money on. But money I won in a giveaway? I’d be all about getting that Immersion Blender, and the super-sized food processor, and a few of the cookbooks I’ve been wanting…heck, with a $1000 to spend on Amazon, I’d probably have to create a whole new wish list to try and spend it all.

About Grace

When I was younger, I was constantly in the kitchen helping my mom bake. It was fun getting to play with the flour and always getting to lick the spoon. I’ve always expressed an interest in baking and now I feel that it’s the right time for me to take over. I am a college student working towards a nursing degree as well as a full-time aunt to the sweetest little kids (they might pop up in some of the posts). I’ve learned most of what I know about baking and cooking from my mom, and I am continuing to self-teach through trial and error, which means plenty of sweets to be eaten. Read more...

    This would be so great to win. There are so many things I would buy with this. 1 thing would be a record player for my husband :-). He got a couple of old vinyl records for Christmas, now he needs something to play them on. Then I would get more exercise equipment for me. Probably some things for the kids :-). My birthday is next Saturday so this would be a great Birthday present 🙂

    I would use half of it to get things for my sister who is taking care of Mom 24/7 and needs some things. I would use the other half for things for my hubby and 2 children.     I love the chance of winning the Amazon gift card. One of my purchases would be a Kitchen Aid mixer with the glass bowl and pasta roller attachment. Another would be a treadmill, so that I can burn off the calories of the goodies made using my new Kitchen Aid.
