    This would be heaven on earth to have. Been cooking since I was 10 with my mom and am now 62. She had an old Sunbeam stand mixer back in the day. In my time it is all by hand with the help of a hand held. Just thinking of what I could create with one of these. Could never afford one, but would LOVE to own one. Thanks and good luck everyone.     • I Had a kitchen aid but my stepdaughter raises foster children and didn’t have a mixer she did everything by hand so I figured she needed it worse than I did. But I would love to have a new one to make my neighborhood Christmas baskets and etc. Thanks for the consideration

    I had a kitchenaide for 20 years. I used it every day for baking. I even opened my own small business. I have recently relocated to New Jersey, don’t know what happened but it no longer works.     I’ve been collecting lots of recipes on Pinterest, so I’d probably go wild making them. I recently found out I am gluten sensitive, so I have gone gluten free to protect myself from more damage. To make matters more complicated I have a condition called gastroparesis, which basically means my stomach doesn’t empty properly (and some times it refuses to at all and causes me to get sick). One of the ways I deal with this is to eat ground or pureed foods. Problem is, now I have to cook a whole lot more because store bought foods just don’t cater to both conditions very well. I’ve been dreaming of having a Kitchen-aid to help me be able to prepare healthy meals for both me and my family.

    I use my 1974 Kitchenaid Mixer about 3 or 4 times a week. I NEVER buy ground meat. We grind our own. My mixer has served me ALL of these years. I started a wedding cake/catering business with it in 1975. I have to run it on HIGH these days as the motor starts to smell a little burned. I LOVE my mixer.     It would be hard to decide what to make first. I love to cook. I use my plain old mixer to make a lot of cakes and icings and cookies. I cannot imagine the possibilities with a Kitchenaid!

  588. It’s a tough decision of what to make first. This week I plan to make cookies, muffins, biscotti, and bread for an event this weekend. I’m not sure which I would try first… Maybe the pumpkin biscotti since it has some extra steps involved and while it is in the oven make some muffins or cookies… This would make things go much faster!

    My older sister has one and loves it. Hers is red in color but hard to borrow because we live almost 4 hours in driving time away from each other. As far as myself, I do not have any mixer except for a small hand one which in as much as I love to create desserts and holiday dinners, the most I will do with my little hand mixer is whipped potatoes and cake batter out of a box.     I had one of the first ones when they came out. when I got sick I lost everything. I sold it in a garage sale. I’ve missed it so much. my husband died in 1998, he said I made the best bread. And I made it with my mixer. I would love the chance to have another one. they werent’ in colors when I got mine. but I would love a dark blue or red one. thank you sincerely
